Kyo

Like art, music can be a great means for self expression, especially for those feelings that lean towards the vulgar or extreme. One of my favorite musical acts is Dir en grey, who can be easily boxed into a harmful stereotype. I look deeper to the meaning behind the lyrics, the cadence and beat, and discern for myself the reasoning behind the anger and sorrow.
